Royal National Lifeboat Institution RNLI Mechanic bullion cap badge

A scarce original early Elizabeth II period 'RNLI Lifeboat mechanic cloth cap badge'; gold wire bullion Queen's Crown with plush crimson velvet, surmounting a rope edge circle tied at the base with a reef knot, purple velvet padded centre with silver wire embroidered propeller, R.N.L.I above 'Mechanic' below; the reverse with paper backed hessian lining. Very good condition, gold wire remains bright, no evidence of any moth, old pinhole top and bottom.
