PAC Aircraft Construction winged aeroplane company workers badge

A rare original circa 1936 'Aircraft Construction worker's badge'; gilded brass title circlet, inlaid with blue enamel, on which a large superimposed wing bearing the logo "PAC" overlaps. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.

'PAC Aircraft Construction' believed to be from the 'PUTTNAM AIRCRAFT CO. LTD.' registered as a private company on March 11 1936 and and known for the 'P.A.C. POU Flying Flea aircraft'. They ceased trading the same year after producing a small amount of aircraft.
