WW1 AOD Hospital Ancient Order of Druids tin foil collection badge

A scarce original First World War period 'A.O.D. Hospital Tin Foil Collection Delegate badge'; an extremely impressive gilded brass oval example bearing a 'Red Cross' and depicting the 'Ancient Order of Druids' symbol, a 'T' superimpose on a triangle; the reverse impressed with maker's details "TIPTAFT B'Ham". Excellent condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, gilt remains crisp.
