A scarce original circa 1914 -1923 'Building Workers Industrial Union trade union badge'; gilded brass square example, inlaid with green enamel, the central device a gilt 'lath bundle' on blue enamel circular ground, bearing initials "BWIU" and "Solidarity" bar across the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details "Fattorini Bradford". Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright, an excellent example.
