Primrose League ladies grand council badge

A scarce original late Victorian 'Primrose League Badge of the Ladies' Grand Council', blue enamel strap, bearing the legend "Imperium Et Libertas" (Empire and liberty), the centre with applied small yellow primrose and leaves, over the letters "LGC" reversed and interlaced, the reverse with unusual maker's details "H.Lewis 172 New Bond St. London." and "Rd 26062" a registered, design and patent date of 1884. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
