A scarce original First World War period 'Engaged in the Manufacture of Munitions of War badge'; gilded brass circular example, red enamel title surround with white enamel centre, the reverse impressed with a simple "H" in a circle. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole horseshoe fitting, enamel intact, minor surface scratches.
