A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Girl Guides Tawny Owl assistant leader badge'; gilded brass example inlaid with brown translucent enamel, depicting a beautiful feathered wise owl, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Collins London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
