Royal Air Force Air Ministry official issue whistle and chain

A scarce original circa 1940's RAF 'Air Ministry whistle and chain'; white metal tubular example impressed with 'Crowned A.M' followed by the numeral and initial "293/A A./22 CON. 14C". Complete with steel chain with spring clip and leather button tab. Good condition, small kink in chain.
Length 80mm.
