RAF No 216 Squadron Royal Air Force badge circa 1950s

A scarce original early Elizabeth II period 'RAF No 216 Squadron' gilt and enamel badge, depicting an eagle in flight holding a bomb in its claws with Latin motto "CCXVI Dona Ferens" (216 Bearing Gifts), the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
