Dewsbury & District General Infirmary hospital badge

A scarce original pre-1951 'Dewsbury & District General Infirmary badge'; gilded brass rectangular shaped example with title surround inlaid with blue enamel, the centre depicting a panoramic view of the hospital as it was in October 1929 when it opened, the reverse impressed in relief "Langley Euston". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
