Robertsons Golly footballer white waistcoat adverting badge Marples Beasley

A scarce original circa 1950's period 'Robertson's Golly Footballer badge' playing a brown football, wearing dark blue coat and white waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' to chest, the reverse stamped in relief with maker's details 'Marples & Beasley B'Ham' in a circle. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
