Boys Brigade Dechmont Jubilee Camp badge 1933 Kirkhill Glasgow

A scarce original 'Boys Brigade Dechmont Jubilee Camp badge', lightly silvered over copper gilding metal, the top scroll depicting the figure of 'St. Mungo' is inlaid with blue enamelling . Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, minor sevice wear to silvered finish.

The Boys' Brigade Dechmont special camp badge was presented to each of the 2079 boys attending the camp held from the 8th-11th September 1933 at Dechmont Kirkhill Glasgow Scotland. It was worn on the left lapel during the Camp and afterwards transferred to become a decoration worn on the left arm under the 'King's Badge' and the 'Long Service Badge' throughout his service in the Boys' Brigade to show he had been one of the representative Boys at the Jubilee Camp.
