A good circa 1940's period 'Red Funnel Line gilt and enamel brooch', the company house flag in white, green, red and blue enamels, mounted to the centre of a lucky wishbone. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect

Founded in 1861, originally operated a paddle steamer ferry service between Cowes, Isle of Wight and Southampton.The house flag was inspired by the names of the early steamers, 'Sapphire' 'Emerald' 'Ruby' and 'Pearl'.
