National Union of Railwaymen 1948 silver NUR trade union badge

A good original late 1940's 'National Union of Railwaymen 30 membership years lapel badge'; inverted triangle depicting clasped hands superimposed on railway lines, the title surround inlaid with red enamel, surmounted by "30 Membership Years" in blue; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1948 and maker's details "J T & Co" (John Taylor & Co London). Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, complete with original presentation box.
