A scarce original chromium plated shield shaped engineering and metal workers 'Associated Blacksmiths Forge & Smithy Workers' Society trade union badge' with blue enamel title depicting clasped hand over blacksmiths anvil, the reverse with maker's details "F&S B'Ham" (Fattorini & Sons Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel.
