WW2 WVS Civil Defence home front badge in original box

A very good example of a Second World War period 'W.V.S Civil Defence chromium plated badge' inlaid with red enamel, the reverse with maker's details "L.Simpson & Co London" complete with issue cardboard box and display card stating "Official Badge". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
