A fine quality original 'St.James's Hospital Leeds nurses qualification badge, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1936, maker's details "M & B" (Marples & Beasley) and inscribed to the recipient "D.Thornes 1933 -1937". Excellent condition, retaining original pin fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
