Steam Engine Makers Society trade union badge 1826 - 1920

A good originalcirca 1911 'Steam Engine Makers Society trade union badge'; gilded brass example bearing blue enamel title circlet within ornate surround, the centre depicting a 'Steam Engine' in high relief on white enamel ground, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini Bradford' (1911-1913). Excellent condition, complete with early style circular lapel fitting, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
