British Railways Midland Region STATION MASTER lion astride wheel cap badge

A scarce original 1950 to 1956 issue 'British Railways Midland Region cap badge'; gilded brass example depicting a lion astride a wheel, the centre 'Crimson Lake' red enamel bar inscribed "Station Master". Very good condition, complete with original long two loop fittings and split pin, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, minimal service wear.
