A rare original turn of the Century 'Esperanto International Language badge'; fine quality made circular gilded brass example bearing "Esperanto Lingvo Internacia' title inlaid with black to the surround and green enamel five pointed star to the centre, the reverse with early form of round lapel buttonhole fitting and impressed withe maker's details "Glaser & Sohn, Dresden" (Germany). Very good condition, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
