BEA Airline officers gold bullion cap badge

A very good original late issue 'British European Airways officer's cap badge', large gold wire bullion embroidery padded example bearing 'BEA' logo within a laurel wreath surmounted by a 'Astral Crown', the reverse with black hessian lining. Very good used condition, bullion remains bright.
Height 63mm.

'British European Airways' was formed in 1946, BEA and BOAC merged in 1974 to become British Airways.
