Gartnavel Royal Hospital psychiatric care nurses badge
A scarce post-1963 'Gartnavel Royal Hospital nurses' badge'; large gilded metal example in the form of a horseshoe, bearing within St Andrews Cross superimposed over tree and fish from the Glasgow coat of arms, surmounted by a rising sun on torse with Latin scroll below "Reluceat". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
