St.Peters Hospital nursing medal for outstanding services

A rare original 1976 award from the 'St.Peter's Hospital, Covent Garden, London specialist in urological nursing', the suspension bar impressed "G.H.Fowler. 1976" and retaining a large circular medal depicting crossed keys and Latin motto "Infirmos Curate" (Heal the sick) impressed in relief "St.Peter's Nursing Medal"; the reverse marked "Silver" and inscribed "For Outstanding Services to Nursing". Very good condition, complete with original blue silk ribbon and pin fittings.
