A scarce original 'Co-operative Wholesale Society large celluloid tin button badge' featuring the 'CWS' registered trade mark logo with additional portrait of the newly crowned 'King George VI' inscribed '1937 Coronation' featured on a golden wheatsheaf bearing the motto 'Labor and Wait' across the centre and depicting a farmer's shovel and sickle. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting, colours remain bright (light reflection on photograph).
