Primrose League Honourable Order of the Grand Star first grade badge

A large Victorian period 'Primrose League Decoration of the Grand Star First Grade'; unmarked star, cut in brilliant silver facets, mounted with gilt Garter inlaid with blue enamelling, bearing the legend "Imperium Et Libertas" (Empire and liberty), and yellow enamel primrose centre, the reverse with maker's details "T&J B (T&J Bragg Medals Birmingham, London). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, complete with hook to accommodate ribbon with ring attachment this now absent.
