WW2 St.John Ambulance Assoc 1938 silver service miniature medal

A good Second World War period 'St.John Ambulance Association miniature silver service badge', the reverse of the medal bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1938 and further 1939 to the bar, maker's details "WD&S" (W M Dowler & Sons) and inscribed "453959 Ronald F Leversedge". Very good condition.
