Forest of Arden cycling club badge circa 1900

A superb example of a late Victorian early Edwardian 'Forest of Arden Cycling Club members badge'; large gilded brass impressive shield of convex design, inlaid with half white and half blue enamel, the centre depicting the interlaced initials "FACC" with full tri-part title scroll below, the reverse impressed with maker's details "Vaughton Birmm". Very good condition, retaining original early style pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright.
