Boer War tribute medal Suffolk Yeomanry 1900 hm silver badge

A rare silver 'Boer War Tribute Medal' the obverse comprising of a large shield bearing the 'Arms of Bury St Edmunds' (three Crowns superimposed over crossed Arrows pointing downward) with scroll above "South Africa" and "Suffolk Yeomanry 1900" below; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1900 and scarce maker's details "B & S" (Bach & Smith). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minimal wear.
