Gulf Air Airline 1966 hallmarked 9 carat gold badge

A fine quality scarce 1960's period 'Gulf Air gold presentation badge', bearing the crest of the airline a 'Falcon Bird' on sky blue enamel ground within a laurel wreath surround, with Arabic writing to both top and bottom; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1966 and maker's details "BM&BCo" (Birmingham Medal & Badge Co). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in perfect working order, enamel flawless.
