WW2 Spitfire Fighter Plane earring badges made from salvaged metal

A very good unique Second World War period aircraft badges, handmade from salvaged metal possibly from a crashed aeroplane or a silver coin and skillfully made into a pair of very attractive earrings, the reverse of each with sprung catch impressed "Silver". Very good condition, both catches in good working order.
