British Red Cross Society County of Brecknock badge

A very scarce early issue example of a 'British Red Cross Society County of Brecknock gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details "J.R Gaunt London" and inscribed "236. Rose Byron". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
Height 50mm.

The British Red Cross Society County / Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
