Boys Brigade Glasgow Battalion 1906 hallmarked silver medal

A very unusual turn of the Century medal in the form of a large star presented for the "Glasgow BTN Boys' Brigade Drill Competition", the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1906 and maker's details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley). Excellent condition, complete with large ring fitting.
Height excluding ring 44mm.
