Stobhill Glasgow Hospital school of nursing 1941 silver badge

A good original wartime issue badge from the 'Stobhill Hospital Glasgow, School of Nursing' bearing the Latin motto "Protecere et Sustinere" (Protect and Sustain), the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1941, maker's details "M & B" (Marples & Beasley) and inscribed "M.S.K.Shaw. 30.11.42.". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings (lead solder repair around pin shank), complete with safety chain (pin now broken) no damage to the enamel, very minor surface scatches.
