Cyprus Airways airline wing enamel badge c1950
A scarce original circa 1950's 'Cyprus Airways badge'; possibly an Air Stewardess's this well designed silver plated stylized wing inlaid with electric blue enamelling and bearing two red lions on a field of white enamel, these lions featured on the last flag of Cyprus under British colonial rule disbanded when Cyprus became independent on 16 August 1960. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, a superb example.
