Boys Brigade Squad 1934 hallmarked silver medal

An exceptionally good example of a 'Boys Brigade Squad Medal', this example in the form of a 'Maltese Cross' superimposed on laurel wreath, the centre bearing cross behind a 'Sure & Stedfast' anchor; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1934 and maker's details "JF&S" (James Farquharson & Son Houndsditch, London) to both parts. Very good condition, retaining original blue silk ribbon and suspension bar complete with original pin fittings.
