BOAC Airline air steward stewardess gold bullion brevet wing badge

A scarce early example of a 'British Overseas Airways Corporation Steward or Stewardess badge', large gold bullion padded brevet wing, central 'S' on blue silk ribbed backing, the reverse with black hessian waxed lining. Exceptionally good condition, gold bullion remains bright, no sign of any moth.
