BOAC Airline Radio Officer gold bullion brevet wing uniform badge

A scarce early example of a 'British Overseas Airways Corporation Radio Officer badge', large gold bullion padded brevet wing, central 'R' on blue felt backing surmounted by 'BOAC Astral Crown', the reverse with black hessian waxed lining. Exceptionally good condition, gold bullion remains bright, no sign of any moth.
