Princess Air pilots wing gilt airline badge circa 1989 -1991

A scarce original wing from the short lived British charter airline 'Princess Air'; large gilded brass heavyweight example, possibly for a Steward or Stewardess, the central plastic disc bearing the airline's logo, a coronet over a stylized "P". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, gilt remains bright.

Princess Air founded in 1989 with its headquarters at Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It operated charter flights from Southend and Bournemouth Airport and freight flights between Cologne and Brussels through the night. It ceased operations 1991.
