WWI War Service Australia 1917 hallmarked silver & enamel badge

A scarce First World War period 'War Service Australia' silver and enamel badge, the centre depicting a map of Australia with superimposed crowned rising sun, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1917 and maker's details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley, Birningham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
