A scarce early Elizabeth II period 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps nurse's buckle'; chromium plated example wth matching ends, the central device a Crowned wreath bearing 'Subcruce Candida' scrolls, the Dannebrog lettered 'A' for Alexandra to the centre, 'Q.A.R.A.N.C' title below, the reverse with maker's details 'Hobson & Son (London) Ltd'. Very good condition.
