BOAC Airline pilots wing gold bullion cloth uniform badge
A scarce original early example of a 'BOAC pilot's wing badge', large gold wire bullion embroidery wings on felt cloth backing, the padded central shield bearing a griffin with distinct red tongue, surmounted by an astral crown, the reverse with black waxed cotton lining. Very good used condition, bullion remains bright.
