British Tanker Company silver bullion non executive officer cap badge

A scarce original pre-1955 period 'British Tanker Company non-executive officer's silver bullion padded cap badge'; this unusual example normally found in gold bullion, depicting the house flag of the oil company, a St George's cross with superimposed green diamond set within silver bullion laurel wreath, surmounted by a silvered passant guardant lion; the reverse with black paper covered hessian lining. Very good used condition, bullion a little dulled with age.
