Indian Military Nursing Service IMNS shoulder title badge c1927 to 1943

A scarce original English made die-cast brass Second World War period shoulder title "IMNS" for the 'Indian Military Nursing Service'. Very good condition, complete with two loop fittings, backing plate and split pin.

The 'Indian Military Nursing Service' was formed in 1927 from the 'Indian Troops Nursing Service' which began in 1926. In 1943 the 'IMNS' formed part of the 'Indian Army Medical Corps'.
