A very scarce early original 'University College Hospital Nurses League silver badge', this example with solid centre bearing a shield inlaid with dark blue, pale blue and brown enamel; the reverse impressed "Silver" and with maker's details "Spink London". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, an excellent example.
