Cambridgeshire For Home and Country WI badge

A good original gilded brass 'National Federation of the Women's Institutes badge', oval in shape, the fretted centre bearing the "WI" monogram, flanked by a red enamel rose and Canadian maple leaf, with motto "For Home and Country" inlaid in green, further scroll below "Cambridgeshire"; the reverse impressed with maker's details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham". Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel with minor defects, gilt finish now worn back to the brass.
