Isle of Ely For Home and Country WI badge

A good original gilded brass 'National Federation of the Women's Institutes badge', oval in shape, the fretted centre bearing the "WI" monogram, flanked by a red enamel rose and Canadian maple leaf, with motto "For Home and Country" inlaid in green, further scroll below "Isle of Ely Federation; the reverse impressed with maker's details "Fattorini & Sons Ld 36 Barr St. B'Ham". Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel, gilt finish now worn back to the brass.
