WW2 Boys Brigade Life Saving proficiency badge

A rare original wartime version of a 'Boys Brigade Life Saving proficiency' die-cast nickel badge, in the form of a 'Lifebuoy' with 'BB' to non-fretted centre. Very good condition, retaining original vertical tube joint pin fitting and rounded catch, pin possibly an old replacement.
