Royal Auxiliary Air Force 1961 Hallmarked Silver lapel badge

A rare fine quality silver 'Royal Auxiliary Air Force lapel badge' bearing a Queen's Crown, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmaks for 1961 and maker's details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaing original buttonhole crescent fitting, an excellent example.
