RMMV Winchester Castle shipping line silver picture badge c1930s

A good example of a scarce 'RMMV Winchester Castle souvenir ship's brooch', the reverse impressed "Made in England Sterling Silver Pt 202213". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, colours remain bright.

RMMV Winchester Castle passenger ship was owned by the Union-Castle Line, built by Harland and Wolff at Belfast in 1929, departing on her maiden voyage on the 24 October 1930.
