5NG Nottingham BBC Radio Circle relay station members badge

A scarce early original pre 1928 'Nottingham B.B.C. Radio Circle 5NG relay station gilded brass and enamel badge' bearing the 'Arms of Nottingham' in dark red enamel, the reverse with maker's details "Samuel Jenkins, Hockley, Birmingham". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor wear to gilt finish.
Height 27mm.

'Nottingham BBC relay station 5NG' first began broadcasting on 16 September 1924 and ended in November 1928.
